Fritters. - 1 1/2 lb of Flour, 4 ozs of butter; 2 spoonsful of good yeast, 4 Eggs, and mixed with a pint of new milk for a quarter of an hour, and some currants, also a little lemon peel, all Spice. Obenden House. Mock Biscuits. - Take 3 Eggs, leaving out one white, beat them, & mix 10 oz of sugar, and 1 lb of flour, drop them on tins with a fork; a little ginger, or chopped lemon peel is an improvement.
