Plum Pudding. 1 lb Flour, 1/2 lb suet 1/4 lb Currants 1/4 lb Raisins, 1 Egg, 1 Tablespoonful of Treacle, mixed in one Gill of milk. Good Cake. 1 lb Flour, 6 oz Butter, 1/2 lb Sugar, 1/2 lb Currants, 1/4 lb Raisins, 1/4 lb Candied lemon, 1 Teaspoonful of Baking Powder and 1 Gill of New Milk. Baking Powder 1/2 lb ground Rice. 3 oz Tartaric Acid 2 oz Carbonate of Sodas. Dry & Mix well.
