if too cold, & consequently does not work, put in a large bottle of boiling water, (full to the cork) after a good stirring of the liquor. - Face ache. - (1852) - One Penny worth of Camphor, one tea spoonful of Magnesia, one pint of hot water: put into a bottle, & cork close. Wash the mouth inwardly, & face outwardly. (Miss D.) - For Tooth ache. Three parts Sal Volatile, & one part Landaunum. Moisten Cotton Wook with this mixture, & put it into the cavity of the tooth, & bathe the cheek also, if necessary. - (Miss Dawson). -
