- 10 - staid one week. That first evening while Georgetta and I were sitting upstairs alone we felt to solemnly give thanks for the wonderful way we had been cared for so far; and our hearts seemed filled with gratitude to the Almighty. We went into fresh rooms and next morning I had the flu. It was very hard to keep the room warm enuf with the little fire place, so we also used a little oil stove. The Sturges were very kind, and tried to do all they could to make us comfortable. I found entertainment whilst alone in looking at pictures, portraits, bird books; and dear little Annie would come up stairs and talk to me saying sweetly as she was leaving "poor Ina all alone"! I got pretty much discouraged over having the Flu to put me back, and did not see how I could go on my journey for a long time, then I looked out the window and saw a few light colored clouds and a very sweet, solemn and trustful feeling came over me to such a great extent that I could almost
