- 14 - she felt saying, "We are one in Christ." She called at Martin Pumphery's home where they were mutually refreshed; and had three public meetings; well attended. Martin inquired of how we were going to Norway; and upon finding that we must cross the North Sea third class, he would not consent to it as the smell was so bad, and we sure to be sick. So he gave us the additional amount of money, requesting that we go first class; which we did. And had cause to remember his kindness with greatful hearts. Mamma in company with Edmund Hatcher visited his sister and family. They seemed tender and anxious to appoint a public meeting for her; which they did. And it was a good meeting. They also visited a sick girl who had some of her limbs taken off; and still she was cheerful, and enjoyed so to see the flowers of Spring. She was so thankful for the visit and sermon, and said she saw things so differently now. Whilst we were at Bournville, mamma and Georgetta attended the little Friend's Meeting held at Sophia Shepherd's home,
