- 23 - elderly woman spoke in meeting of a religious girl who had been a regular attender of meetings; but who had quit. And when asked the reason she said she saw one of the head members going into the theatre. And she thot if she can go there; I can also. Adding, Now, I have no taste for meetings. She impressed the necessity on the older ones especially to be an example for good to the young etc. She told mamma after meeting she had felt to speak many a time; but did not have the courage to do so on account of the conditions there until after mamma spoke. Mamma felt to speak encouraging to her to be faithful one evening in our bungalo. And a few months later she wrote and told us how thankful she was for our visit there: that she had been previous to our visit a great sufferer from heart trouble. And in bed much; not able to lie down flat, or walk out of doors. And the Doctor told her she must not speak on account of her heart. After our visit she resolved to be faithful; no matter what it cost her. And asked the Lord to strengthen her to do His will. And she said she had not had any heart trouble since. And was called to speak quite plainly at different times; and had met with
