26 The Bryne's had arranged to give the people free meals in the meeting house; so the last two days I stayed there also. But while we were still at the hotel one morning after mamma, Uncle, aunty and Georgetta had had bible reading mamma felt to come into my room to pray. They all came and she prayed so feelingly for my help, and that all who had the care of me; and all of them would do their part to help me (calling me the afflicted sufferer): and so I was. It felt very solemn, and all wept; Uncle almost sobbing aloud at this time and at other times. When the silence was over Uncle came and huged and kissed me, saying, weeping, he hoped they would do all they could to help me. And he wished I might get better! That made me feel good, for I felt so backward and timid coming in such a sick and helpless way: fearing I would be so much trouble to people. Both Uncle and Dina Fugli enjoyed looking at our photos. Dina gave up her bed and room to me those two days; but, I suffered a lot with my head
