-54- woman and her daughter seemed very tender and thankful. At one time she was asked to take supper at the home of a Methodist Priest; where he had invited four other Priests to meet in order that they should have a talk with mamma. When she entered the room she was introduced to the Priests; who, were mostly young and smart looking men. They eyed her sharply; and she felt herself so weak and shaky to try to talk to them and answer their questions. She took her seat and a deep silence covered their minds; so that they could not enter into conversation. And she bowed her head, closed her eyes and wept. Soon she felt to speak in a powerful manner. And was given to explain various scriptures. After this they had supper. And the young Priests looked very mild; and did not have much to say: but, united with all she said. And seemed very thotful. The Priest who had invited them all there, wept almost aloud whilst mamma was speak -
