Saving...
- 77 - To Georgetta Georgie Baby little dear My youthful playmate ever near Tho thou so very big has grown Still I call thee my very own Work and labor is thy second name It and skill has brot thee fame And when we see thy bounteous table spread And leave it feeling so well fed We exclaim she is a good cook 'Tis a gift and not learned from a book But sometimes our dear discouraged grows And she is sure that no one ever knows Half how deep the sorrow goes Then with an out burst of tears Poor baby cries despite her years But when good humor comes again My nose she pulls my cheek she bites 'Tiny and J.P. goes off in heights In whatever mood she may be Be it sorrow pain or glee To us she makes it known with force Somethings must go right at first trial Or else for all she cares they may be slung a mile Then we four come forth to aid.
