Saving...
-78- With all our might and will And you should see the smiling maid As we her wishes endeavour to fulfill And I tell you we are glad When our dear has ceased to be sad But best of all to hear Are those words which come softly to the ear Of peace and life and strength Which cometh from above alone Where in the end she longs to call her home So be faithful dear never looking back And may peace and joy eternal ever follow on thy track Together we have traveled far and near Alone and with our mother dear Over land and over sea And may these memories ever be Of lasting benefit to thee and me Composed by Ina at Volland, Norway whilst sick in bed. Seventh month, 30th., 1927
