-81- To declare to others of the Gospel To thee so sacred and so true And from thy youth up to this day It hath ever been thy way In solemn prayer to seek to know and then obey God's will where 'err he might lead Fearing neither man nor all his evil seed Tho their words may pierce thee like a sword Yet thy confidence is ever in the Lord In Him thou has trusted ever pressing on Believing all thy needs He would supply And yea He did for thou hast ever found In Him a Father on whom thou could rely And for the living water thou hast thirsted And found His well runs never dry For a few crumbs from His table thou has asked And has received abundance ere the day was ever past. When in our various walks of life The billows have rolled high And shipwreck of our faith At times seemed almost nigh Thy timely words to us have been, "Launch not out upon the storm
