-89- Near by is a powerful Threshing, grinding, it runs them all Then last but not least of all I must tell of Nellie, the famous mare And of her little Daisy the pet of all With her short cute mane and glossy hair Nellie needs no bridle when Upon her back her master rides Only a tap of his foot or hand upon her sides Will guide her well whether Short or long be her strides At Roiseland is the place Where with nature we may talk And in her winding paths of beauty May find many a sacred thot And when free from all our daily duty We may enjoy a quiet peacefull walk Down thru her valleys so low and grand Or up high upon her mountaintops we may stand Yes dear Roiseland among thy beauties rare
