Find Uncle's family all well. Otis is here, but John Holmes is away looking land. We may remain here till Monday, then go to Uncle Roberts & Tiptons. I must be back by the middle of next week. Lizzie may stay until week after. I have thought some of not doing much this summer besides paying my way. Still may work nearly as hard as ever. I am somewhat uncertain, as the Public School Directors are trying to buy out the Seminary for the Higher Department of the Graded School. When I left all they wanted was to raise some $1200~ to make the first payment of the $4000~ - whole price. I think they will probably
