Dear friend with pleasure I embraced the present oportunity of writing a few lines to your you said though that you would like to have letters more interesting than the other I wrote I dont know as I can do much better this time for there is nothing interesting to write I am well and hope this may find you the same well I must try and scribble a little some thing we have pretty much quit drilling til they pay us they acted so rough to day that old Cal Brush said he was a going to resign I hope he will then we may get the duchman Cad Bradtheck he is now instructer of the camp he is a well informed man
