Cold Slaw. Boil in half a pint of vinegar a lump of butter - of the size of an egg. as soon as it boils pour into it the beaten yolks of three eggs - Pour in directly over the shred Cabbage, & eat it when cool Apple Fritters 5 apples grated - 4 eggs. 7 table spoonsful of flour. 1 pt of milk. warm - beat the eggs well, & mix the apples in into them first. Fritters Extraordinary. 1 pt milk - & a table spoonful of butter boiled to gether, into which stir a pt of flour - quite smooth Break in 6 eggs, one at a time - beat well before adding another. Beat the batter until it blubbers - Drop into boiling fat - Sift over them sugar & cinnamon.
