Jan 31st Nothing new. Weather warm. Feb 1st Weather warm and cloudy. Nothing interesting going on Feb 2. Received a box of goods from Liberty. Weather clear and frosty. Turned warm late in the evening and look like rain. Feb 3rd. Our company are on picket 2 miles South of Camp. Rainy and wet which makes it not verry agreeable. Received a letter from Sally, all well at home. Feb 4. Returned to camp this morning. Found Cap Patter
