Mar 9. Our march again at 7 Oclock. March 10 miles and encamped 6 miles north of Nashville. Weather verry mild and pleasant. Came to where the Cane and Cactus begin to grow spontaneous. Country excellent and well improved. First 4 or 5 miles of the march this morning the land is quite hilly. Yesterday we passed the Tyree Springs a celebrated watering place and appears to be a place of considerable resort as there is accomodations for from 1000 to 2000 guests. It is situated in Sumner Co Tennisee
