Frequently they have been held at members homes in town and when Mrs Blinks and Wilson still lived on farms this meeting were often held at thier country homes. Perry Oxley's carryall being chartered for transportation. One often hears the time spoken of when, at one of these meetings at Mrs Blinks, Mrs Crooss prepared stuffed and roasted a young squab for each person present and one can almost visualize Mr & Mrs Cross en route to the country driving thier span of spotted ponies lutched to a low hung phaeton.
