24 At another guest dinner, at Mrs Ives, just as we sat down at the table, each member was given a slip of paper on which was written some stutn that she was to do in the program to follow. The pleasure of the dinner for some of us was spoiled. However some wonderful (?) speeches, ovations, readings and even a debate were given as well as solos, whistling etc. For one of the musical numbers the baby organ had been brought from the Presbyterian church to furnish the accompament. All did thier best, in this impromtu program and it caused a lot of fun at least. A guest day was held in, 1929, at Mrs Waffle's house, at which moving picture films were shown. The films being sent through the courtesy of Mrs Waffles' brother, W. T. Maddock, who was in charge of the Educational Film department of the Eastman Kodak Co of Rochester New York Refreshments followed the pictures.
