23 to be voted on in two weeks, was as follows. Mrs E. W. Griffiths Mrs Rush English, [illegible] Louise Durham Motion made and carried that Mrs Knowlton represent the Cary Club at the City Federation in the Congregati- onal Church Dec-4th, and read the paper which she gave before the Cary Club in September. Entitled. Manners and customs of ancient Germans. Current events by Club. Lessons in English conducted by Mrs Stookey. Adjourned to meet Dec. 17 at the home of Mrs Taylor. Mrs Noris Pres - Mrs Humphrey Sec'y. Dec - 17 Cary Club Met at the home of Mrs Taylor. President and Vice both being absent Mrs Knowlton was appointed to preside. Roll Call responded to by quotations of Winter 9 members present, Minutes of last meeting read and approved , Mrs Reynolds Critic, German History Mrs Humphrey. Luther and Contemporary reformers, Mrs Taylor. Motion made and carried that we postpone voting on names for new member as there were so few present. Motion made and carried that we omit Lesson in English. Motion that Mrs Alexander be asked to give a humorous reading at next meeting prevailed. On motion of Mrs Taylor we decided to meet half hour earlier. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Reynold. After which our hostess invited us to remain for a little social. Serving light refreshments. Mrs. H. Sec'y Mrs Noris President
