Marion Ia May 18,''1914 Cary Club met with Mrs Winter. The Vice Pres. Mrs Pyle presided. The Pres Mrs Ives being absent. Twelve members were present and answered roll call with quotations. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. The Club discussed the "City Led of Womens Clubs" of Marion containing the 5th District of the State Fed of Womens Clubs" next Oct. A vote was taken it was lost. Cemetary work was talked over but no further action taken. Mrs Bishop chairman of Program [Com?] for 1914-15 read program as prepared by Com it was accepted by Club The program for the day "Modern Women of Fiction" was given by Mrs [illegible] - very interesting to all. Current Events were then given Adjourned to meet with Mrs [Menthyen?] June 1st Mrs Pyle Pres. Pro Tem S. Brown. Secy Pro Tem
