Marion, Iowa. January, 7, 1918. The Cary Club met with Mrs Reichert at the usual hour, with eight members present. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order. Roll call was responded to by New Years Thought's. Minutes of previous meeting accepted. It was decided to have an all day meeting Tuesday, Jan. 15th, with Mrs Cross, to sew for the Belgian children. The 15th and 16th chapters of the club story were read. Mrs Griffith then gave Mrs Alderman's work on, America's Surpassing Fisheries, which was very interesting. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Waffle. Mrs Blinks Carrie Reichert Pres. Sec'y. Marion, Iowa. January, 21, 1918. The Cary Club met with Mrs Waffle at the usual hour with ten members present. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order. Roll call was responded to by, Thoughts of Home. M Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Mrs Winter invited the ladies to meet with her Tuesday January 22nd, for an all day sewing for the Belgian children. The 17th and 18th chapters of the club story were read. Mrs Davis gave her work on, National Parks, Glacier, Crater Lake and Platt, which was very interesting. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Brown. Mrs Blinks Carrie Reichert, Pres. Sec'y.
