Dear Friend: - I wish to acknowledge the message from the Womens' Christian Temperance Union of Grimmel, I favor all this proposed temperance registration which you have mentioned. However, I doubt at this time the admirability of forcing a vote on the constitutional amendment bill from a standpoint of temperance legislation and from a political standpoint. We believe that the passage of these Bills will greatly aid the cause of temperance.
