class. Mrs. Effie Slocks gave the report of the Congregational S.S. leaflets have been distributed and a temperance address has also been given to the S.S. very temperance Sunday. Miss Jennie Bailey reported 1000 leaflets distributed in the Sunday schools in the town on Worlds Temperance Sunday and 50 were sent to the [name?] church for distributation 80 were sent to the district [illegible] 1200 were [illegible] on Anti [illegible] Sunday. 1000 on Sabbath observancy and some Purity leaflets. & 900 leaflets have been purchased this year for $6.05. The nominating committee report was read and accepted. Program committee, Mrs. Effie Stocks, Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Lewis. Committee to further investigate the question of a Smoker at [illegible]. Miss Ella Marsh, Miss Jennie Bailey and Mrs. Stocks, Because of the generous assistance he has rendered to the Union with the rest tent and the float, Mr. Wrage was elected an Honery member of the Union. meeting close by repeating the mizpah.
