Mrs. [McGium?] read the following paper on women's role for Iowa. Two new members were received. Mrs. [McGium?] and Mrs. Webster. Dec. 8 [illegible]. Singing labor on. Mrs. L read Eph. 6. Be strong in the Lord. Prayer by several. Sec. requested to write to Mrs. [illegible] expressing the regret of the Union at her removal. Mrs. G. [illegible] elected [Supit?] of S.S.! Pro. A discussion on effect of prohibition on labor. Mrs. Stocks affirmative. Mrs. [illegible]. Only 8 were present.
