Sept. 1915. 17 present Grinnell W.C.T.U. met in U.P. church. Rev. Mr. Lawrence led in prayer after reading Solomon's prayer. A beautiful solo "Sunshine Tomorrow" was sung. The Sec. read the minutes of last meeting. Approved. Mrs. Lincoln read the letter from State Pres. Moved and Sec. we send $3. for Thank offering. Carried. 25. reported in the Treasury. Miss Jennie Bailey reported a very successful Rest Tent at [State Co.(crossed out)] Grinnell Fair. $4.85 was received for parcels. 600 leaflets and blotters were distributed. A vote of thanks to Mrs. Nelson for chairs was given. $1.25 was voted for Union Signal and Young Crusaders. Mrs. Comely had the program on Benedict Home. It has been established 23 years. 80% saved to a virtuous life. They moved into their new home at Des Moines Sept. 1. 2 barrels of fruit was packed and sent.
