Feb 19 1918 was a very cold day with the side walks very icy but 8 members of the W.C.T.U. were present. After singing Mrs. Kearney read a Pr. showing the confidence we need. After which she led in prayr. The minutes were read and approved. Mrs Lincoln requested Mrs Stocks to take charge of the scripture cards the State President ask for. A motion carried to send Jilly and Jam to Camp Cody. Mrs Natland appointed to first notice in the paper Mrs Richards to recieve them at the store, Miss Buck reported 8 from the High School willing to write essays left to her judgment. Voted to send $1.00 to Willard Fund. Mrs Richards has the Programme "How to enlarge the work of the W.C.T.U. Song" Onward Christian Soldiers. She thot we must just prayr first. Our slogan "Ant to Nin". Mrs Stocks read letters from soldier thanking us for comfort bag. We are are to meet to decide about our market day. Closed with the Migpah. Ass. Sec. W.C.T.U. met on March 19th 1918. After singing How Fine a Foundation Mrs Lincoln read March 10th. The minutes were read and approved. The Executive Com. reported the plan of a war Food Exhibitit Market Day on April 6th. A letter from Mrs Bower Co. Pres. was read. A bill of .85 allowed for Temperence leaflets and Book the latter to be placed in the library. Mrs McGuin as lader read Por. McCawan's book "The Lovers" $2 was given by individuals and $3 taken from Treasury to purchase 100 copies of book to distribute. The barrel of spread for soldiers read reported ready to be sent. 2 dog cards with tesets sent. Com. apointed to solisit for Market Day. Ass. Sec.
