The regular monthly meeting of the W.C.T U. met at the Congregational church parlors Jan 20-1920. There being an attendance of nineteen The meeting was opened by singing Onward Christian Soldiers and the Son of God goes forth to War. Mrs. Woodburn had charge of the devotional. She selected for the scripture reading fourteen verses of the sixteenth chap of Isaih [sic]. Following the reading several prayers were offered. Sec. and treasurer report read and approved. Resolution that Mrs. Biande had in charge were not read on account of her abscence [sic] however it was decided to send a copy to Miss Baggo and one to the deceased brothers and sisters. Mrs Sticks reported $10 subscription for Armenian sufferers. Our president very urgingly exhorted the Union to battle on as there were more victories to win. Mrs Leonard gave a very interesting talk on domestic conditions among the home that she had done personal work - also she gave a brief synopsis of the Sunday School work at Uncle Sam's Club House. In her discourse she mentioned that a personal interest is needed to accomplish very much among these people. They must be urged to do that which is to their best interest.
