The W. C. T. U. met on Tuesday Jan. 18 1921, at its usual place of meeting Mrs. Stocks read the scripture. Pauls letter to the Corinthenians(?). The reading was preceeded[sic] by a hymn - My Faith looks up to Thee and and #152 in the hymnal. Prayers were offered by Mrs. Griffith, Mrs. Hess, Mrs. Stocks and Mrs. Kirk Secretarys report was read for the member(?) meetings. Treasurer was absent. There wasint[sic] any new business further than a short discussion on matters concerning the welfare of the community. There were seven present. Meeting adjourned. Contest(?) in the evening by six girls of which Pauline (?) won the medal. Mr. Warner gave a thirty minutes[sic] speech.
