Ydalis Cerna The May meeting of the W.C.T.U one of its usual place May 18-1921. the president called the meeting in order after which the time was given order to Mrs. Hess who conducted the devotionals, she read from the word! Sam 2nd chapter from 1- to the 10 verses included. The reading brought, out the Hannah's song in thankfulness Song the Morning light is breaking was sung. Prayers were offered touching on motherhood. After the devotionals the business meeting was proceeded with the president calling Sec. report. The same was read and approved Treas. absent no report. Committee were called to report. Champaign(sic) for new membership was discussed. It was moved and seconded that the chair appointed the delegate for the county convention. The decision of the president was printed in local papers. Mrs. _________ having change of the flowers it was decided that Mrs. Lochum(?) and Wood be her assistance (sic). The flowers to be distributed among the hospitals, homes of sickness. Mrs. Richards having charge of the study program, presented some of the essential considerations of motherhood a number stroke on the spiritual and moral training of the child. An unusual interesting? address of interest was presented by Rev. Woodburnon the virtues of motherhood. A (illegible word) Mother McGee was sung by Gladys Sherman and Rachel Richards Miss (illegible word) presiding at the piano. There were thirty present. Meeting closed in usual way.
