The November 1921 meeting of the W.C.T.U. met at its usual place of meeting. Nov. 15, at three p.m in the parlors of the Congregationals Church. November being the month that the nations special attention is turned towards past events and present blessings. That has made this country of ours so wonderfully formed The [illegible] took the topic for devotionals Thanksgiving Prayers offered full of Thanksgiving. also songs of praise were sung. After devotionals the president took charge of the business. Sec being absent the minutes were not read. Treas absent so the treas report was not given. Mrs. Effie Sticks was appointed sec. pro tem. The report of the report on armistice day was presented, considered and accepted. The prayer meeting of 3: p.m armistice day was a profitable one. Mrs. Effie Sticks was elected suph. of press. A letter from the State president was read asking that we hold our institute before Christmas. At the first of the month of December a special executive meeting was called It was moved and seconded that Mrs. Sticks Mrs. Kearney and [Woodburn?] have complete charge of the program to be rendered. The place to hold the meeting was left with the president to decide. The social committee who will manifest themselves at the [illegible] [illegible] were appointed. The chair appointed Mrs. Ruth [name?] Mrs. Kearney and Mrs. Sticks as program committee for the following year. It was decided to order 100 of the National program. The committee reported a request from council to support their efforts in keeping the billboards clean.
