Report of committee was given by Mrs. Kearney, on the activities of the members in reference to picture slides. After a short discussion the matter was moved and seconded to be layed [sic] on the table. President * read a letter Mrs. Jones[.] Moved and seconded we have our annual Market Day the Sat before Easter. It was officially decided to send a years subscription to each pastor. A letter from State Pres. on placing the bible [sic] back in schools was received. The reading of the same differed on account of [illegible] of [illegible]. Mrs. Baker took the balance of the time for the program. Presenting her subject in an interesting way, Mrs. George read a story that was enjoyed. Miss Bayley of the Parker School entertained the Union with her boys and girls in a Patriotic Drill which included a variety of patriotic gems. The children with unusual earnestness. Our National Hymn -- The Stars [sic] Spangled Banner. The little folks gave their exercises with such spirit and affection that it was appreciated by all. Mrs. Wilson selected as the woman candidate to run on the school board election. Disbursements - $9.00 for Union Signals to Mrs. G. O. Watland. Meeting closed by the benediction.
