Well my dear girl here it is nearly a week since I began this letter to you. I have tryed several time to finish it but have failed every time. I would begin a new letter but I am afraid I would have no better luck so will finish this if possible. Yes Min I too wish that we were near enough so we could see each other once in a while but it would have to be very often if I would be willing to dispence with a letter from you occasionally I must write to [illegible] as I have a promice of some pictures when she got back from her visit I suppose you have seen her by this time. So you dont like the Democrats well I am not very much
