Chicago is a lively place it makes one wonder how so many people live and where they crawl in when it comes night. i got my business done so I had most all day Friday to look around in. i went around with a Dry goods man who went in to buy good for home with me we went in to some of the largest dry goods houses in the city one place in particular Marshal Field & Co their sales last year was 27 million dollars the display of fancy dress goods was some thing to do a womans heart good that is if she had plenty of money to buy with.
