letter most awful well. most as well as you do. but if you only write every week I wont complain if they are a little shorter than mine. I saw Kate yesterday, she is going up to Fairbanks to morrow to go into a dressmakers shop she had a new bonit on most exactly like your blue one. Her old fellow was married last week. Young Moore to Miss Berger you probably saw it in the paper. you have not said whether you got the paper or not, or if your paints got there, did the cala bulb come through all right it is too bad your plants froze. What did the folks think of your paintings? Hattie got a letter from Eda last night they are having the measals in Alder. the schools are closed little Effie is proud to think she has been exposed, says she has "not had the measels yet but will have them next week." You say [Gain?] if you are not well, you never will get married, why my dear girl, if you are not well. I want to have you as bad or worse, so I can take care of you, of course we will be happier if our healthes are good and we must do all we can to make them so. I dont use any tobacco yet and am not going to. I am glad to be able to make a little sacrifice to please my darling girl.
