Since, however, I had been prepared, Dr Schmitt would function as presiding officer. Very much dissatisfied with this whole arrangement I hesitated to remonstrate, "Yes but I can't have him, I must have Dr Maersch. I have always had him and he knows my stomach. When is his next day as chief consulter at the gastroscopy [tattoo?]?" "Not until next Monday," was the reply, "but since you insist to home for the east tomorrow, you may as well have Dr Schmitt. You are all ready and it would be a shame not to go through with it today, and get it over with!" reasonably and coaxingly inquiring "That leaves me no choice", I momentarily decided with growing conviction. "I will not be able to leave tomorrow for I can nothing else but wait for Dr Maersch. I can have no other." "Yes, but it isn't necessary for you to wait," he protested. "Dr Schmitt will do the gastroscope for you very well.
