Whither they came and whither they grow, - that perhaps is an unanswerable engine still awaiting discovery. Who knows too much about human beings and their peculiarities anyway? In medicine it is the scientific approach that counts beyond anything else for all the theories int he world may not always avail, or they may so easily in reality fall into the discard and become antiquated. It is perhaps quite doubtful that I might have wholly evaded being a stomach in revolt in the incarnation, even though that had been less interference in my affairs. If there might have been less of these irrelevant responsibilities and interruptions which might have enabled me to have painted - if not all I wanted at least more satisfyingly almost the point of saturation - as though that might ever be possible - at least to full capacity. Even then the intestinal disturbance likely could not have been avoided completely, but it is possible that the utmost protest might have been escaped - that objection of the nervous system to specific locale - or at best it might have been enfeebled or toned down in intensity. When I was more vigorous and on a continual go, it used to be that the drain - the progressive exhaustion was not too perceptible. At least my constitution endured the stress and strain temporarily. It is pretty hard for people who have positions and jobs end who have to be certain things to be able to consider themselves. But if the individual doesn't do so himself no one in the wide, wide world ever does or ever will be likely to, and as long as his back does not bend or break the obligations - right or wrong - will be piled on thicker and still more thickly
