sent Fifty Dol in a letter that was after the draft was recd, and your mother said it was a very foolish thing for him to send money in any such way, and we all thought the same thing. You say that Bell & Co will soon owe you 400$ that is a good deal to be standing back if they are ever so good. If you see fit to do as I proposed you could draw say 150$ at one time and send draft on N.Y. then send as much more at an other time in the same way, and I will send you a receipt for the same. I suppose you could sell your hold for Greenbacks and get perhaps 15 per cent Premium and send a Curancy draft. do what is best for your own interest. I dont need any money myself I have about 2000$ standing out now. Luther Barrow sold out to Giles for 3200$ & is going to Washington territory. No one knows any thing about your letters but myself.
