from 18 to 20 Dollars per mo., and at the end of the year they have nothing. In you next letter state now Alberts Case in Court was disposed of. it was to have been tryed as well as my memory serves me about the middle of april and we have not had any word from it yet. Emma got a letter from Frank a few days ago he wrote they were all well and him & Edd was makeing money and well satisfied. Now our word about Dr Stewart- he never expressed any doubt but you would pay him some time. If you should send any funds to me, would it not be better for me to settle with the Dr and take his receipt, do what ever you think best about it. Emma, Sammy, & Ella are going to school, all well, from your Father &c S. G. Finney (New [side?] of letter paper)
