I have rented the Howard place out I will get about 250$ rent for this year, the South place is rented to Luth Thomas he married one of John Duncan girls, he is a very industrious man. I put up a good frame stable for him, I have hired a very good hand for 20$ per month. Mary Abegg has quit clerking for Fritz. Willey & Lousse are now clerking. Lohen has bought out the Ben Pratt Property and started a store and is doing right well. [Mip Lide?] is liveing at Mr [Blases?] I dont see her very often. Cy Thompson is setaling Ben in a small way, it is about as high calling as he will ever reach. Ben Pratt has taken the benefiet of the Bankrupt Law, come out clean without money Property or [circut?], and no friends. well I must conclude, all well, write often, from your Father &c S G Finney
