Blakesburg Ia Dec 22 1880 Mr Geo. S. Finney your letter of the 11th Inst came to hand yesterday, one month since I wrote you last, I wrote you that I was about to rent to a man for 2.50 per acre I saw him to day and he now declines takeing it. I have had a good many applications for it, but to get a good man that will do as he agrees cant always be done. at this time I am haveing trouble with Barns about the divission fence I have had the 40 rods of fence put in that he throwed out, and the other 40 rods righted up, there is now a gap of about 20
