Algora, Iowa, Apr 1st 1875 My dear wife - Yours 22 just to hand all dull here. have had a genuine blizzard last 36 hours but has cleared up & getting very muddy. The Cars reached Garner last night, would have been here tomorrow had there been no storm. Think they will be here in 2 or 3 days, not much ? down yet. I mailed you a letter from Annie yesterday to Chicago care of Mary. Mrs Colby also has written you to Chicago. You don't state when you are to start for home, better stop a day or two with brother Wm if you come that way. Our School commences the 12th Harry got along nicely. Mr. Taft takes Mrs. Dodds plan as teacher Mrs. McPherson takes Miss Reads plan. Mr. Ingham is confined to his bed, lame hip business fearfully dull.
