Jan 24, 1944 Dear Evelyn: Since I had some spare moments I am going to dash off a letter to you. Yesterday, as usual, I attended services at the Post Chapel. I go to church every Sunday. We have a beautiful chapel here at our school besides a good chaplain. They have Catholic Services every morning here at school. Here is one of the church bulletins passed out to students attending services. Well, last week we finished all our weapons. I got to fire the renown "Bazooka" you hear so much as well as bunch of other high caliber weapons. Sorry I can't tell you anything about weapons and its about my course since walls do have ears. All I can say is that it is a very good course and you really learn something here at Ft. Benning. Recently we had an accident during one of our night problem. One of the boys fell down a steep ravine and knocked out his teeth as well as getting bruised up. The thing about this accident
