On Women Con't. my thesis was, too. These crazy guys down at the courthouse -- when I was trying to get a license, this old guy says - "This isn't your name!" I said, "The h___ it isn't," and I got me a lawyer and that was that. I told him the justice of the supreme court said that the way it is and he said, "Oh, they don't know anything!" When I went to college there were more women employed in the art dept. than there are now. Since then the men got ahold of the ball. Its astonishing that they let a girl get the first degree. A lot of people go into art now because they think its easy, then graduate and never do anything with it. Of course, it is something they can use every day of their lives, particularly if they're a homemaker. HOUSEWIFE! What an odious word!
