July, 1906. Sun. 22. Fair, & hot morn: cool N.W. breeze later, & only 82° P.M. All at meeting morn., & I staid home Evg. Union mtg. our church & pastor. Mon. 23. Only 60° at 7. Beautiful day & only 80° max. C. in P.M. sprayed grapes Evg. with nicotine Tues. 24. Another beautiful day; - a little warmer. - abstracting. C. in P.M. - sprayed melons, currants & strawberries with bordeaux. Currants - all picked now & did well, & bushes now in fine condition. All at Madam Butterfly, Evg Wed. 25. Fair, 80°. Threatening showers. C. in P.M. Thurs. 26. Light shower in night. Fair day, about 85°. Had sweet corn from Robertson's. C. P. Mite supper. Fri. 27. Fair & quite warm. 88° max. Work rather quiet. Watered flower-garden Evening. Sat. 28. Fine rain in night & copious showers during forenoon; light sprinkles P.M. Got the recording all caught up.
