September, 1906. Sun. 23. Cloudy & cool. At meeting morn & Evg. Mon. 24. Fair morn. E. wind. Fine day. Too cool in office A.M. but warm in sunshine. C.in A.M. only. Dem. convention P.M. Schroda weeded garden. Tues. 25. Bright cool morn. S.E. breeze. Fine day. Too cool in office A.M. C. in P.M. Wed. 26. Sharp shower in night. Clear & cool morn. N.W. breeze. Cool & clear all day. About home after 4 P.M. - C. in morn & P.M. Thurs. 27. About 38° morn. Beautiful day. N.W. breeze Went to Lansing Farm Festival by regular train. morn. & home on special soon after 11 P.M. Had a good time, & felt well. Fri. 28. A little warmer morn., overcast, S.E. breeze. Cloudy all day, with very light sprinkles. 104 3/4 Sat. 29. Cloudy most all day, fair PM Evg N.E. breeze. Suffered all night with eye-ache, & to-day with cold in head. About home after dinner till 4:20. Took up chrysamum. Started paper-white narcissus - old bulbs & old freesia bulbs.
