Sun. 14. Fair & mild; 71 or 2 max. At church morning. - C. & I called at Billy Baldwin's p.m. who got badly broken up by a fall into a cistern Thursday. I staid home Evg. & C, at meeting.

Mon. 15. Cloudy morn. gtle. s.e. 50° mostly cloudy & mild day:72°. - C. in A.M. & P.M. after 3:30. I potted 8 Hyacinths & 1 Narcissus. Indexing a while, Evg.
107 1/2 - 3 for top-coat = 104 1/2

Tues. 16. Very nice morn. 48° S.E. gtle. Indian-summer-like. 72 about. C. in P.M. - I out after 4, pulling beats &c & planting last of bulbs. Narcissus & scilla & Grape Hyacinths. 

Wed. 17. Mostly cloudy, quiet S.E. & mild = 68° max. C. in P.M. & I out after 4 o'c. Cleaning & repairing hen-house. G.W. Tayler put in 4 bus. potatoes. 

Thurs. 18. Mild & rainy morn. Showers p.m.- & cooler Evg. clearing. C. in P.M.

Fri. 19. Clear & gtle. N.W. -- light frost. Fair day. 68° - C. in P.M. & I out after 4 trimming vines.
