December, 1906. Sun. 2. Fair, S.W. wind. Mer. reached 40°. Both at meeting morn & Evg. Mon. 3. Fine day: 35° max. C. in A.M. & P.M. Had 2 teeth filled, Dr. Stillman. Tues. 4. 28° cloudy. S. wind. 36° max. wind gtle. & variable. - C. in P.M. - I out after 4 P.M. & in Evg. Wed. 5. 32, with icy rain, all day. Very slippery of course. - C not down. Head-ache coming on all day; severe at times. Lunch at Wilkinson's. Thurs. 6. 22, N.W. & an inch of sow on ice. More snow then clearing & much colder. 6° at 5 o'c. - C. & I took dinner at church. (Bazar) & she in office P.M. Fri. 7. 4° - clear N.W. gtle. Partly cloudy day, moderating, veered to S.E. Took supper & spent part of Evg. with C,'s club at Hall's; the men went as a surprise to the women. Sat. 8. 6 or 8° morn., cloudy, [(din.)?]; 28° max. Busy day. Down a short time Evg. C. in P.M. Began using nut coal in range
