Sun. 17 30°; 56°; fair, variable. gtle. Ex. Rev. Saunders Union College morn & evg. I alone at church. morn. Charlotte has bad cold. H. & I at community service evg., over church, crowded.

Mon. 18 35 to 65°; fair, S.W. wind Lots of snow still in, morn Office T C.H. as usual; and as office evg. accs. 

Tues. 19 42° to 70° Fair, S.W. wind Snow most all gone again Mud drying in this wind, and sap not running. Pavement dusty Went down to [Urmc?] evg. but could not. for blind spot. office during day. 

Wed. 20 43° S.W. fair. 72° Scattered in some Lettuce seed. at court House most of time; office evg. at [afc?] books.

Thurs. 21 50 to 65° mostly cloudy; S.W. - to N.W. p.m. Dry one parsnip, but ground still frozen below 6 in. Office mostly 10 to 6 & evn. a while

Fri. 22 29° to 53°, fair Northerly Office & C.H. as usual. - H. & I at Gibbs' evg. - a meeting book the S [Millin's?] laymen's drive good time; not home till mid-night.

Sat. 23 28 or 27° N.E. clear. 50° Office & C.H., as usual but not very well.
