Tues. 23 Distant th. storm in night & a little rain here. Rainy a.m. (mowed west) - mowed E. evg. Very little sun; 82° Began taking Ice. Wed. 24 Copious showers a.m. Fair P.M.; 82° Cleared stove-pipe after supper. No office work to do. Thurs. 25 Hot nights, with distant lightening - Corn just booming Fair, southerly. 88° 88
